• Enclosure:
During the 1750’s fences were put around the England countryside. Machine came and people lose their jobs. People who did not own land could no longer graze their animals. Their field system replaced strip farming.
  • Move to the city, Poverty:
These people moved to the city to look for work and cities were over crowed now. These people soon became very poor. But they couldn’t find jobs. Children and machine were doing the jobs once done by men.
  • Drunkenness, Crime:
These unhappy people turned to drink to help them forget their poverty. Hurry and possibly drunk, many of these people began to steal.life_8C.jpg
